Das ganze Album Superstar von Gigi Moto erinnert mich an das kleine Häuschen meines Vaters in Valbella. Im Februar 2003 verbrachte ich ein paar Tage (vielleicht eine Woche) dort oben. Ich kann mich nur noch daran erinnern, weil ich auf dem PC noch Fotos habe, die auf diese Zeit datiert sind. Und weil jedes Mal, wenn ich einen der älteren Gigi Moto Songs höre, Bilder des Hauses in meinem Kopf auftauchen und mich traurig stimmen. Mein Vater hat das Häuschen verkauft und ich werde es nie mehr sehen.
Die CD Lazy Daisy erschien kurz darauf und ich hörte, um mich darauf einzustimmen, in jener Woche pausenlos Superstar mit dem kleinen CD-Player in der kalten Küche.
Mein Lieblingslied von Superstar ist be like no other, aber das ist auf Youtube leider nicht zu finden. Daher hier: Superstar.

My father sold the house and I will never see it again.
The CD Lazy Daisy was about to be released shortly after my holiday there and to get in the mood I listened to Superstar all the time on the small CD player in the cold kitchen.
